Loan comparison for all of Switzerland, family-owned since 1978
Miro Kredit AG is a Swiss comparison platform for personal loans. Since 1978, we have been helping people throughout Switzerland to find, among our partner banks, the most favourable loan their situation allows. We are not a bank. We review your file, compare the conditions and criteria of our partner banks and submit it where it fits.
First review and compare, then submit where it fits
Anyone who needs a loan often applies to several banks at the same time. Every bank asks for the documents, every bank checks everything from scratch, and as a rule each application is reported by the bank to the Central Office for Credit Information (ZEK). A rejection remains visible there for two years and counts against every further application.
We take the opposite approach. You submit your documents to us just once. We review your file before any bank gets to see it. Where a rejection is foreseeable, we do not submit an application at all. And if nothing fits at the moment, we tell you openly. That way, you save time and avoid unnecessary ZEK entries.

A family business, not a corporate group
Miro Kredit AG was founded in 1978 by Miroslav Desancic (1948–2019). Today the second generation of the family carries on the business. We are not a large corporate group. With us, you are not a case number. The whole team is committed to your loan, from the first question to disbursement.
What we stand for
Our work is free of charge for you (Art. 35 KKG). We are paid by the bank that grants the loan. We never ask for upfront costs, even if no contract is concluded.
If a loan is not feasible, we tell you before a bank says no.
Your documents only go where we submit your file. Details in our privacy statement.

What it is really about
Ultimately, it is not the loan that matters most, but what you need it for. That is what our work is geared towards.
Is Miro Kredit licensed?
Yes. Miro Kredit AG is licensed as a credit broker under Art. 39 and 40 of the Swiss Consumer Credit Act (KKG). The licence was granted by the Office of Economy and Labour of the Canton of Basel-Stadt. It is valid throughout Switzerland.
The current licence, No. K 2021-10977, is valid until 9 November 2026. We have been licensed since 2006, by the Canton of Basel-Stadt since 2011; the licence was last renewed in 2026 for a term until 2031. Every renewal requires a new review of the company and of the persons responsible.
The authority checks for impeccable business conduct, sound financial circumstances, professional expertise and professional liability insurance (Art. 40 KKG). The licence is withdrawn if these requirements are no longer met.
You can check this yourself with the Office of Economy and Labour Basel-Stadt, Labour Inspectorate, ai.awa@bs.ch, +41 61 267 88 20, or on the authority’s information page on the consumer credit licence (in German). The granting of the licence was published in the Official Gazette of the Canton of Basel-Stadt (Kantonsblatt).
Whether a loan is granted is decided by the bank after the creditworthiness assessment required by law (Art. 28 KKG).
